
Susan Mulholland's practice has focused on intellectual property strategic planning, exploitation, protection, and enforcement in the areas of copyright, trademarks, and domain names. Her intellectual property experience includes copyright clearance, prosecution, and enforcement; assisting clients with the selection, registration and enforcement of rights in trademarks and domain names on a global basis; strategic planning for brand protection; developing and managing global company portfolios and policies; intellectual property due diligence; business transactions, including acquisitions, alliances and joint ventures; advertising, merchandising and brand management counseling; the establishment of domestic and international licensing and maintenance programs; and educating and training business and marketing executives in the protection of intellectual property assets. She represents a wide range of public and private companies as well as technology standard-setting groups.
In 2006 and 2007, Ms. Mulholland was selected as "Massachusetts Super Lawyer-Rising Star". She has been a featured speaker at the Boston Bar Association's Computer and Internet Law Committee and at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. She also is a member of the International Trademark Association, where she has been actively involved in various committees promoting the interests of trademark owners.
Ms. Mulholland holds an A.B. degree from Vassar College and a J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School.
