A skilled litigator, she handles all types of cases from complex business disputes involving ownership disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, and complex breach of contract cases to employment issues such as wage disputes, misclassification, discrimination claims, and employee departures.
Not only does she navigate clients through the complexities of litigation including pretrial discovery in large-scale litigation, and strategy up to and through trial but she also provides critical counsel to businesses on various issues including employment compliance strategies, assisting with internal investigations, and the negotiations and drafting of severance agreements.

Experience
Companies and employees also work with Lauren on how to avoid litigation. Her practice includes review of policies and procedures and avoiding data related disputes by drafting thorough privacy policies and terms of use for websites.
In addition to her years at Gesmer, Lauren’s experience includes roles at a boutique employment firm in Cambridge and significant experience in civil litigation departments such as the U.S. Attorney’s office and the City of Boston. In law school, Lauren represented low-income clients as part of BC Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic. Before her legal career, Lauren worked in the Massachusetts Governor’s Office. Her background in civil litigation and public service underscores her commitment to delivering comprehensive legal solutions.
A Massachusetts native, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and her rescue dog, Lucy.
